Superintendents for the Greene County Fair Open Class invite all county residents to exhibit their hobbies or interests at the County Fair. There are open classes for all ages, men, women, youth, and children.
Divisions are available in Arts & Craft; Hobbies; Photography; Collections; Antiques; Genealogy including stories, legal documents and family pictures; Foods, canned and baked items; Textiles and Fabrics, quilts and hand work; Agriculture, vegetables and fruits; Horticulture, flowers, specimens and arrangements. Agriculture and Horticulture entries will receive extra points if the species and variety are listed on the entry tag, (ex. Rose – Hybrid Tea – Mr. Lincoln etc.)
Projects that were completed at school can be entered in the youth open classes.
Entries will be accepted on Thursday, July 10, from 1 to 7 pm at the Clover Hall Open Class Exhibit area.
Open class fair books which contain the specific rules and regulations can be picked up at the Extension office.
